What will be covered?
- Perform a risk assessment of the worksite where work is to be done at height
- Understand knowledge of fall arrest rescue equipment and advanced fall arrest rescue
- Develop a fall protection plan and fall arrest plan
- Understand the management for safety of personnel working at heights

Prerequisite: Must be in possession of Working at Heights training and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment certificate.
Candidate Requirements: PREREQUISITE – Must be in possession of a valid Working at Heights and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment certificates.
Scaffolding Erector
What will be covered?
- Interpret basic drawings and instructions for the erection of access scaffolding
- Coordinate resources for the erection of access scaffolding
- Erect access scaffolding
- Dismantle access scaffolding

Scaffolding Inspector
What will be covered?
- Understanding different types of access scaffolding, applications and compliance
- Explain the role and responsibilities of the inspector
- Read and Interpret drawings, client requirements and other specifications
- Inspect and hand over access scaffolding

1 Day practical
Candidate Requirements: Must be in possession of a valid Scaffolding Erector certificate.
Working at Heights
Working at Height
What will be covered?
- Explaining the use and limitations of a limited range of fall arrest equipment and fall arrest plan.
- Inspecting, assembling and storing fall arrest equipment.
- Selecting suitable anchor points.
- Using fall arrest systems with a double lanyard.
- Using pre-installed vertical and horizontal life-lines.
Duration : 1 day
Requirement Be medically fit and in possession of a medical certificate, declaring the learner free from a condition that may prevent the learner from working safely at height
All the required safety equipment for the practical exercise is to be provided by the candidates attending the training.
PLEASE NOTE!! Should the learner not have worked at heights prior, he is required to do 1.5 days of training which includes the practical.
